Local Writers Reading


Boulder author and journalist Christine M. Tracy has launched a monthly reading night at the newly expanded Inkberry Books in Cottonwood Square. Local writers will read from a variety of genres followed by a lively discussion. Nibbles and wine served too.

Christine M. Tracy is a writer, journalist, rhetorician, and and Teilhardian scholar. Inspired by Teilhard's 'noosphere,' Tracy coined the term "newsphere" and wrote TheNewsphere: Understanding the News and


                
            

Information Environment, The Mystic As Everyman, and most recently Just Trust Life: A Journey with Teilhard de Chardin. She will read from her memoir Just Trust Life on Thursday, May 7.

Chris Chandler


Chris Chandler is a storyteller, author, and book lover. Her memoir, Stay Sweet: Tales of Quirky Southern Love, was published in May 2023. She edited and contributed to Notes from Motherland: The Wild Art of Raising Humans, a collection of essays about motherhood, in 2024, and is a three-time cast member of Boulder's Listen To Your Mother show. Chris lives in Boulder, CO with her husband, is the mother of two young adults, and has a house full of rescue animals. She helps others find and tell their stories

Steph Sprenger

Steph Sprenger is a writer, producer, and host of the Peri-Normal podcast. She has been producing LTYM Boulder since 2016. Steph is the founder of The Pause, a creative community for midlife women, and teaches a variety of writing workshops throughout the year. Steph's work has been published in O Magazine, The Washington Post, Mutha Magazine, The Belladonna

Comedy, Motherwell, and other places. She is editor-in-chief of THREE, a literary magazine dedicated to women's untold stories, and her memoir, Nostalgia Junkie, will be published in December 2026 by Third Rail Press.


Jessica Stokes


Jessica Stokes is the award-winning author of Seeking Clarity in the Labyrinth: A Daughter's Journey Through Alzheimer's. Through heartfelt storytelling, Jessica shares her experience supporting both her mother and father through Alzheimer's disease while navigating grief, caregiving, resilience, and personal transformation.



Drawing from her own journey, Jessica explores the power of labyrinths, spirituality, and finding meaning in life's most difficult seasons. Her work offers comfort and insight to caregivers, families, and anyone facing loss, change, or the challenge of finding their way forward.
