About the Author

Michael Whitaker ("Whit") is a professional problem-solver, a coach, and--most importantly--a dad. By day, he is a Strategy Executive at ICF, where he designs frameworks to help thousands of people navigate complex change. He wrote Family Throughlines after realizing that the most important

conversations he needed to have with his kids--about AI, social connection, safety, and their path to the future--were the ones nobody had prepared him for. He lives in Boulder with his wife, Jen, and their 15-year-old daughter and 12-year-old son.
