Elaine Lipson works in watercolor and acrylic with a focus on abstraction, landscape, and naturalist subjects; she is also a textile artist and designer and a writer, editor, and author. She earned a degree in fine arts (painting, printmaking, and art history) from Colorado College. Elaine was born in Canada, grew up in several states, and has lived and worked in Chicago, Toronto, New York City, San Francisco, Boulder, Denver, and other places; she currently lives in Colorado, with a studio in Boulder.
